Music at the Monastery — Daniela Padrón

Produced by Michelle León, Music at the Monastery is a concert series established in February 2023 presented by the Latin Grammy multinominee violinist Daniela Padrón. It takes place once a month on Thursday nights at The Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach, a true architectural oasis in the heart of the city.

During our inaugural season, Daniela Padrón curated a series of four captivating concerts (all of them sold out) featuring an incredible lineup of artists such as Maestra Aymée Nuviola, AleMor, Kavitha Jayaraman, Inez Barlatier, Laura Cadabón, Maestro Antulio Mora, Ensamble 7/4, and Gaêlica. Together, they showcased the vibrant cultural tapestry of Miami by exploring diverse genres ranging from Celtic and classical music to tunes from Cuba, India, Colombia, France, Haiti, Argentina, and Venezuela.

We kicked off our second season on September 28th with The French Horn Collective, “A Night Around Venezuela”, on October 19th, with an exclusive and intimate concert by the two-time Latin Grammy nominee Daniela Padrón, Henry Linarez, Ernesto Laya and Elvis Martínez, at The Ancient Spanish Monastery. We were amazed on December 14th, with our Celtic Christmas concert featuring Gaêlica

Prepare to enjoy an exceptional lineup of Miami's finest talent on January 4th featuring Maestro Nestor Torres and the incredible and unique voice of Karen Martello, on February 15th.
